This is the federal government’s criminal complaint against Luke Wenke of Olean, New York, who was arrested by the FBI on January 28, 2022 on suspicion of cyberstalking and making interstate threats.

Wenke was accused of stalking a Minnesota-based criminal defence attorney who, at the time, was representing a man Wenke is romantically obsessed with named Ryan. Believing the lawyer was doing a poor job at defending Ryan in court and participating in a conspiracy to keep him and Ryan apart, Wenke continuously contacted the victim in an aggressive and threatening manner. He also drove over 900 miles from Western New York to Minneapolis in an attempt to visit the victim face-to-face after being told to stop contacting him.

Following his arrest, Luke Wenke was remanded to the Niagara County Jail without bail pending the outcome of his case.
